About Us
Meet our co-founders, Natalie & Emma
Hailing from Rochester, NY.
Currently living in Rehovot.
Emma came to Israel in 2014 on a Masa program, thinking it was a temporary move, and stayed for the attractive Israeli men.
B.Sc. Health Promotion
MPH Public Health Leadership & Administration
Emma gave birth three times in Israel in the past three years at Wolfson - so when she says “I’ve just been through this”, she truly means it. She has navigated pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood, across both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies.
Her experiences span a wide range: induction, gestational diabetes, episiotomy, natural births without epidurals, TENS machine use (which she loved), formula feeding alongside breastfeeding, and sending children to Gan. She understands firsthand the realities of managing energy, expectations, and logistics in different seasons of motherhood.
Professionally, Emma brings over a decade of experience in the health and wellness space. She holds a Master's in Public Health and has formal training in health coaching, personal training, and group fitness. She has a gift for helping moms build sustainable habits, realistic routines, and organized home systems that actually work, especially when life feels full and chaotic. She’s practical, grounded, and deeply attuned to what moms need in real life, not in theory.

Emma Avlas
Originally from SoCal
Now living in Ramat Gan, and moving to a new home in Ra'anana soon.
Natalie knew she wanted to marry an Israeli, so she came on a Masa program to find her husband at 21 years old.
B.Sc. Business (Marketing & Entrepreneurship)
M.Sc. Microbiology & Immunology
PhD candidate in Immunology/Epidemiology
Natalie has given birth twice in Israel in the last three years, both times naturally without epidurals, at Ichilov. Both pregnancies were considered high risk due to preexisting medical conditions, giving her firsthand experience navigating complex medical systems while learning how to advocate for herself and her babies.
Her path has included using doulas, staying at the melonit (baby hotel), exclusively breastfeeding both children for over a year, raising babies at home with a nanny rather than sending them to Gan, all while striving for a more natural and non-toxic lifestyle along the way. She understands how overwhelming decision-making can feel when you don’t fit neatly into standard protocols.
Professionally, Natalie holds a Masters in Microbiology and Immunology, completed more than half of a PhD in Clinical Immunology, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology. Her areas of expertise include the fostering of healthy skin & gut barriers, the microbiome, and early-life risk factors in food allergy development. She brings a research-driven lens to both pregnany & motherhood, translating complex science into practical, empowering information - especially for moms who want to understand the why behind health decisions.
